I've been a freelance journalist and editor since early 2004, covering everything from beauty and health to fashion and the arts for some of Australia's most well-known and largest circulating magazines. Since January 2009, I've been senior editor on Emporium, the quarterly magazine produced for Myer, and in December 2009 I became beauty editor across three fashion magazines for Westfield, all of which are produced bi-annually.

As well as contributing to these custom magazines, I've also written for a variety of mainstream consumer titles, such as Australian Vogue and Australian Harper's Bazaar. And between December 2007 and July 2010, I was the lifestyle editor on TV Week, where I worked with too many celebrities to mention, including Natalie Bassingthwaighte and the cast of Glee, on photo shoots and stories. As well as doing journalism, I have lectured and tutored on the subject at two Australian universities, the University of Wollongong and the University of Notre Dame, and I still give occasional lectures on writing and editing at Wollongong.
